So given the risk of loss during a trip, the need for international travel insurance cannot be overstated. We’ve listed a few scenarios below when an international travel insurance like ours will come through for you.

What are the benefits of buying a insurance policy?

These treatments can include in-patient and out-patient treatments, X-Ray, Radiotherapy and more as prescribed by a physician are covered under our Reliance Travel Care policy.

Transportation Costs:

If your condition is life-threatening and or cannot wait until you return to India, you’ll be transported to the nearest hospital. Also, the additional costs for an accompanying person in case you need to be accompanied for a medical necessary treatment is covered.

Repatriation of Mortal Remains:

In the unfortunate death of the insured person due to insurable event while on the trip, then the expenses related to transporting the mortal remains back to India or expenses for a local burial or cremation in the country where the death occurred is covered upto the defined limits.

Dental Treatment:

Daily Allowance In Case Of Hospitalisation:

In the event of emergency hospitalisation of more than 2 consecutive days, daily allowance will be paid as specified in the schedule due to illness or injury sustained or contracted during the trip will be covered. This benefit can be claimed only once during the Policy period.

Eligibility

The age of all travelling members plays a role in the premiums too. Older people are associated with higher risk, therefore the premiums for them would be higher. Older people have a higher medical risk and a high probability of having pre-existing diseases, which can lead to hospitalisation. On the other hand, younger travellers will have lower premiums as they are usually fitter and have a low medical risk.

Advantages

Personal Accident:

Provides compensation in case of death or disablement due to an injury that occurred during a trip. Compensation is given in case you lose sight in one or both your eyes, loss or inability to use your hands or feet due to an accident, or you lose your hearing, etc. Under our plan, financial compensation is given even if a death occurs after a year (365 continuous days) solely and directly caused by accident occurring during the period of insurance.

Personal Liability:

Apart from accidents happening to you, there’s also a possibility of you causing an accident to a third-party. Such an accident could unfortunately either lead to the injury to the third-party or their death. In such times, the Personal Liability cover takes care of your legal expenses and the compensation that you have to pay to the third-party as per court of law up to the specified limits mentioned in the policy. Compensation is covered in our policy even if you cause damage to a third-party property.
